Despite the Mavericks owning the majority of the clutch minutes in Game 3, the Wolves stars struggled again and Dereck Lively II was nowhere to be found. However, Wolves’ stars Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards stepped up in Game 4 to avoid a sweep in the Western Conference Finals with a 105-100 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.
Combine for 52 points, the duo helped guide the offense as D’Angelo Russell went scoreless through three quarters. While the Mavericks stars, Luka Doncic (33 points) and Kyrie Irving (30 points) put up impressive performances, it wasn’t enough to overcome a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter.
